These Terms of Service apply to visitors and prospective customers who contact RT Olson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning through this website, by phone, or by email. Service Area
RT Olson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning provides plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services within our established service area in and around Corona, CA and surrounding communities in Riverside County. We reserve the right to decline service requests that fall outside our current coverage area. If you are unsure whether your address qualifies, contact our office before scheduling.
Estimates and Work Authorizations
Any estimate, quote, or proposal we provide — whether delivered verbally, by email, or in writing — is not a binding contract. An estimate reflects our assessment of the work at the time it is prepared and may change if site conditions differ from what was initially described or accessible. The actual service relationship is governed by a signed work-authorization form. No work will begin until that form is signed by an authorized property owner or their designated representative. The signed authorization defines the agreed scope of work, pricing, and any specific conditions discussed at the time of scheduling.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the agreed scope of work unless a separate written payment schedule has been included in your work authorization. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice or discussed at the time of scheduling. Invoices not paid within the timeframe stated on the invoice may be subject to a late fee as permitted under California law. For larger projects, a deposit or progress payment schedule may be required and will be stated in the work authorization before work begins.
Scope of Work and Changes
The work authorization defines what is included in your service. If conditions discovered during the job require work beyond the original scope — for example, concealed damage, code-compliance items, or access complications — we will notify you before proceeding and obtain written or documented authorization for any additional work and cost. We are not responsible for delays caused by conditions outside our control, including utility conflicts, permit processing timelines, or material availability.
Licensing, Insurance, and Liability
RT Olson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning operates as a licensed contractor in the State of California. Our liability is limited to the work performed under a signed work authorization. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by deferred maintenance, or work performed by other parties. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under California consumer protection law.
Insurance Coordination
When a service involves an insurance claim, we will coordinate with your carrier only with your explicit written or documented authorization. We do not negotiate claim values on your behalf or act as a public adjuster. Final coverage determinations are made by your insurance carrier, not by us.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from services provided under a work authorization, we ask that you contact our office directly first so we have the opportunity to address the concern. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, disputes are subject to the laws of the State of California and venue in Riverside County. These terms do not waive any rights you hold under California’s Contractors State License Law or other applicable statutes.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at rtolsonplumbing.com. Continued use of this site or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
